Week of: October 26 - October 30, 2020

1. Listen to I'm Scared & Creepy Carrots.

Then, write about a time you felt scared and

what made you feel better.

2. Use the character sheet to

draw how you feel about Halloween this year. 

If you are not or do not celebrate

Halloween, draw a character about

what you look like & what you say when you feel silly.

1. Practice your Balloon Breath or

Candle Breath as much as you can!

2. Come up with as many positive words to

describe yourself as you can all starting with the letters in your first name.

3.Try to making the letters of your name

with your body. Take a video and send to

eating a favorite food, playing a favorite game,

talking to a favorite person, etc.

Listen to Lazy Ninja and think about how

Lazy Ninja was able to change his attitude.  How can you do that for yourself?

Watch Fox and Mouse.  Write 1-2 sentences

about how Fox & Mouse both did something unexpected.

Watch Pip.  Write 1-2 sentences about how

Pip was able to be successful.

Week of: November 9 - November 13, 2020

Listen to the story Kind Ninja &

add onto the story by drawing yourself

as Kind Ninja doing something kind for

yourself or someone else.

Listen to the Disgust & Anger clip

from the movie  Inside Out and draw a

picture of a time you felt disgust & anger. 

Week of: November 2 - November 6, 2020

Listen to A Little Spot of Kindness and

write about a time you did something kind

and describe what it felt like to you.

  2. to identify what different feelings look like,

  3. feel like, sound like, etc.

Week of: October 19 - October 23, 2020

1. Draw a picture of yourself feeling happy-

write words to describe what it looks

like on your face and how it feels in your body.

2. Watch Why Do We Have Feelings &

write 1-3 sentences about why you think

people have feelings.

3. Make a video of yourself feeling happy,

sad, mad, and tired. 

Go back and watch the video and

tell someone how it looks on your face &

what it feels like in your body when

you feel those emotions.

Week of: September 28 - October 2, 2020

1. Practice your Snake Breath as much as you can!

2. Create your own animal breath! Make a video

and send to Ms Chacko if you want: 

mchacko@houstonisd.org or submit on the HUB.

3. Listen to Super Power Listening &

Practice listening to the sounds around you

throughout the day.  Write a list of the sounds you heard.

4. Watch the Active Listening Video &

Practice it while talking to others throughout the day & week.

Week of: September 14 - September 18, 2020

1. Practice Balloon Breath as much as you can. 

Teach someone else how to do it & practice together

2. Watch The Reflection video.  Make a list of things you

like about yourself.  Make it as long as possible! 

If you have trouble, ask someone else what they

like about you!  Then go stand in the mirror and

tell your reflection all the things you like about yourself!

You are showing yourself respect!

3. Watch Build Your Tree & create your own

tree with things about yourself- things you like

& things you want to improve

4. Make a list of 5 things you can do to

show yourself that are important. Show someone in

your house your list & then do one of them!

5. Create your own superhero yoga pose like

mountain pose & take a picture and send to

Ms. Chacko if you want- mchacko@houstonisd.org
